Venue Hire
The auditorium stage includes a three-metre mobile platform extension and curtains. It measures 20.8m x 8.75m. There is a Green Room behind the stage. The auditorium has 11 unisex bathrooms, two of which are wheelchair accessible.
Please note that security may be required for larger events.
Event Centre hire includes:
- Exclusive use of the auditorium, foyer, and green room (additional rooms can be hired at an extra charge if required)
- Stage
- Mezzanine floor seating / movable chairs downstairs
- Lectern
- Audio Visual Equipment
Additional charges for:
- Hire of the Steinway piano and baby grand piano
- Cleaning and rubbish removal
- Live streaming
- Technicians
- Communication Headsets
- Hazer (smoke machine)
Please note we do not offer ticketing as a service.
The Auditorium
With flexible seating options on the ground floor, the auditorium holds around 1,000 people in total (700 on the ground floor and 300 on the mezzanine floor). Downstairs is wheelchair accessible.
The ground floor of the Event Centre can be configured for various uses, including table-seated dinners. Please note that while the space allows for flexible arrangements, it is the hirer’s responsibility to organise and cover the costs of bringing in tables, hiring tablecloths, and any other associated expenses.

- Full D&B Audio Technik sound system with audio Midas M32 mixing console podium and microphone for presenter

Lighting
- General Fill of light and colour evenly across stage area: Eos Programming wing with Fader wing with Eos ETC nomad software
- Full LED Lighting Rig (3-Phase is available on the stage)
- A combination of Fresnels, LED bars and movable heads with colour options
Video System
- Three projectors – left, right, and centre
- Presentation monitors
Foyer
Please note the Foyer cannot be hired separately if another event is in progress in the Event Centre.
Foyer hire includes:
- Exclusive use of the foyer
- Space for 60 people (seated) and 100 people (standing)
- Foyer seating and additional chairs, if required

- Cleaning and rubbish removal

Foyer Technical Equipment
Sound System:
- Full sound system
- Wireless microphones
Video System:
- Two televisions in the Foyer – programming of the screen in the foyer
- Two movable 86” interactive touch panels for presentations
Catering
If you wish to self-cater your event, your caterer of choice must provide all catering needs, including tables, tableware, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
Please be aware there is VERY LIMITED preparation space in the Centre.
Alcohol is permitted with an appropriate Liquor Licence.
